Terri Williams, author of “Black Pain: It Just Looks Like We’re Not Hurting,” discusses her experience with clinical depression and stigma around mental health issues with reporter Cindy Rodriguez. This event was held at the Schomburg Center for Research into Black Culture, New York City on Thursday, March 2015.

Vera Institute of Justice, a non-profit organization that has been working for over five decades to improve justice systems, is now a nonprofit. Vera is a researcher, analyst, and writer who inspires change in the justice systems that people depend on for safety and justice. She works closely with government officials and civic leaders to make it happen.
